Based on the North Shore of Oahu, James Harrison, the owner and founder of Aukai Travel, is very well-traveled and has a great knowledge of the locations he promotes. His expertise expands to sustainable adventure, family and cultural travel. As father of two young boys, J.P., is well aware of the challenges of traveling with kids. and can make recommendations to enhance the family experience while taking the learning curve out of the equation. On the adventure side of the coin, James loves to create unique and obscure adventures that leave long-lasting impressions and even longer-lasting memories! Whether it be surfing, golfing, cycling, hiking,or snowboarding, James can dial you in and make your experience blissfully seamless!

James Harrison
A well-traveled adventure travel enthusiast, father, and waterman, James Harrison, is a long-time resident of Oahu's North Shore. He began his career in travel in 2018 with Mason Horvath Travel and their Luxury Travel Training Program.. Meanwhile, the pandemic and lockdown hit and though it halted the travel industry for the next year, James continued to study his niche and specialty destinations to earn certifications in Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. In January of 2022, he joined the Travel Edge Network as a Travel Consultant. His specialties include family & adventure travel in Hawaii, Polynesia, and Pacific Rim Destinations. Earlier this year, James was named a Conde' Nast Top Travel Advisor of 2023 & 2024. In addition, he freelances as a Travel Director lfor MC&A DMC where he advances corporate tours at various venues on Oahu. With his experience and expertise in the Travel Industry, James is a great option to help design your next itinerary!
